Cooper Vuna sticks with Rebels

Cooper Vuna extends his contract with the Melbourne Rebels to further career in Super Rugby and the national side

Melbourne Rebels and Wallabies winger Cooper Vuna has extended his contract with the Rebels for another two seasons.

This will see the league convert play in the Super Rugby tournament until the end of the 2014 season.

“He is pleased. It is a platform for him to get back into the Wallabies squad,” said Peter Jess, Vuna’s manager.

“It is an exciting time for him. It is the fittest he has been. He has performed very well on the track and the club is very pleased with him.”

The Rebels open their 2013 Super Rugby season against the Western Force at AAMI Park in Melbourne on Friday, 15 February.
