At an awesome event held in Johannesburg CBD this past week, MRP invited the who’s who of the social and online media world to celebrate the new denim line and campaign from Mr Price, and MenStuff was lucky enough to get our paws on the new leg holsters.
The brand showed off a few items thanks to their incredible pop-up store which emerged on Juta Street, along with a vibey party to go with it.
It was hard not to be distracted by the delicious craft beer and alluring waffles and ice-cream on offer via Rather Tart and Paul’s homemade ice-cream (among other things), but when we finally got our bearings, we were able to check out some items from the new line.
The new denim line includes a variety of styles and cuts, but it was the skinny and jogger styles that were the focus for the men. The jogger jeans feature the relaxed-look and elasticated cuffs, while the skinny cut give that slim look but still have enough room to allow for some takkie to be squeaked.
MRP has also extended the new campaign to the public for everyone to be a part of it. Those who submit images or videos with the #mrpdenim hashtag, showing how denim inspires their life or style, will see their original work featured in a gallery on mrp.com, as well on MRP’s social media platforms. They’ll also be in the running for a once in a lifetime prize – a trip worth R150 000 to connect with a friend, anywhere in the world.
