Microsoft announces the availability of the new Lumia device as well as a launch special to please the console gamers to-be.
Microsoft has announced that the Lumia 730 Dual SIM smartphone will be available in South Africa from next week, exclusive to Cell C, and the first 250 customers who purchase the device from selected stores will receive a free Xbox 360 with games.
The device is priced at R229 per month on a SmartChat 1GB contract. The recommended cash retail price is R4499.
Alongside dual SIM support, the Lumia 730 runs on Windows Phone 8.1, and features a 5MP front-facing camera with a 24mm focal length, 1080p video capabilities, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, featuring a quad core CPU at 1.2GHz, a 2220 mAh battery, and a 4.7 inch HD OLED display.
“The Lumia 730 will certainly add to the great momentum we are seeing with Windows devices on our network, with the Lumia 530 Dual SIM and Lumia 1320 really performing well,” says Ernst Fonternel, Cell C Chief Commercial Officer.
The Lumia 730 will be available locally in dark grey.
